Game Review - LISA
Finally, a game that captures the feeling of simultaneously getting hit in head and stabbed in the gut. LISA is a two-dimensional triumph that will both delight and worry you with its unique potpourri of platforming, turn-based combat, and bizarre narrative. Every section is highlighted with humorous vulgarity that'll keep the chortles coming. It's even generous enough to throw a series of increasingly grim ultimatums your way as you claw desperately towards the endgame.
Fun! Joy! Girl! LISA doubles down on the term “RPG” because of the role playing elements and the unrelenting reflection on pain and grief. Think of it as Earthbound in an eerie purgatory that you’ll want nothing to do with.
Play it and get your stupid feelings hurt already.
