Ten Minutes: Aisle Space

The arteries of our grocery stores have become clogged with mismanaged carts and bewildered customers, desperately searching for low, low prices. Shopping requires careful navigation and a variety of head fakes, spins and jukes. Handbaskets teeming with forgotten food are taking up valuable floor space. Entire shelves are being blocked off while families make quick calculations between eight different brands of frozen waffles. If you try to force your way into the same section, they’ll swat you away and start playing defense. I’m not trying to put points on the board, ma’am. I just wanted some ice cream.
