Ten Minutes: Travel
The opportunity to take a break from our jobs is one of the main reasons we work so hard. Adding up the elusive vacation time to take a yearly excursion to some far off place, only to realize that getting to these trips is rarely as leisurely as we’d like to believe. Traveling is work in itself and the stress of packing, planning, and making it through a crowded airport like cattle is one of the most ironic pathways to a long weekend away. It’s exactly what you were trying to avoid and now you’re spending money instead of making it. There’s just something magical about these sabbaticals. In the end, the experience is always well worth it. Anything for another day away from the office.
